The Centre Square development is in the heart of Middlesbrough’s well-connected and vibrant town
Centre Square will create 200,000sq ft of prime office space in one of Tees Valley’s primary centres for retail and employment.
Middlesbrough is already an attractive location for business and professional services, with existing occupiers including Firstsource, AXA and XPS Pensions.
The Centre Square development is creating new service sector jobs in the centre of Middlesbrough and will continue to open up further office and retail development opportunities.
The Centre Square scheme is seeing the development of six new buildings in total.
The largest Grade-A office development in Middlesbrough, Centre Square will create around 3,000 new jobs in the town.
Buildings 1 and 2 are now complete, with high occupancy rates signalling the quality of the offer, but with space still available for new tenants. The recently completed Six Centre Square is owned by Tees Valley Combined Authority and is home to AXA insurance.
Centre Square is a modern and impressive addition to the buildings already in Middlesbrough’s town centre such as the Middlesbrough Town Hall, mima (the leading arts space in the Tees Valley), and the recently developed Holiday Inn hotel.
Centre Square is also in close walking distance to four large shopping centres, offering a large range of well-known high-street brands.
