Reacting to the news that Lord Heseltine has been sacked as a government adviser, David Budd, Chair of Tees Valley Combined Authority said: “I’d like to thank Lord Heseltine for his personal commitment to the Tees Valley following the devastating closure of SSI. I will be writing to the Prime Minister to ensure government does not lose its focus on Tees Valley and the important role we have to play in the UK’s Industrial Strategy.”
