Originally established in 1854 by William Waldon the brewery was taken over by John Cameron in 1872. Cameron grew the business by buying out smaller breweries before rising to fame as a successful entrepreneur and philanthropist. Guided brewery trips are available – bookings taken in advance. All trips are rounded off nicely with a visit to the hospitality lounge.
