Redcar to Saltburn ‘Coast to Coast’ Cycle Route

This scenic cycle route follows the National Cycle Network Route 1 along the coast and provides plenty of opportunities for stops along the way. Starting at Coatham in Redcar the route follows the Esplanade along the seafront and towards Marske. It then runs alongside the Darlington to Saltburn rail line finishing in the picturesque spa town of Saltburn by the Sea. As it is a linear route you can start in either Saltburn or Redcar with parking facilities and railway stations in both towns. Distance – 11.5 miles Difficulty – Easy
